Setting up a rooftop powerplant is not complicated as it sounds. Our team of experts provide consumers with the best solutions and services to install their solar rooftop powerplant without any hassle. In order to maximize your savings, there are a few elements to consider for optimal solar system design and installation.

1) Electrical Appliances of premises.
-- Required for Battery Backup Systems
-- Not required for Net Metering On-Grid Systems without batteries.

2) Solar Panels Location
-- An ideal rooftop or installation site is free from any sort of shading. Solar Panels efficiency is adversely affected by shading of any kind (trees, buildings etc).

-- Solar Panels should be mounted facing the South direction.
-- Solar panels should be installed in a manner so it is easy to clean and maintain them in future.
-- Accessibility of rooftop or installation location to carry solar panels.

3) Solar Mounting
-- Solar mounting structures are installed with 1.5” – 2.5” rawal bolts in the roof.
-- May also be mounted on cement blocks where it is not possible to install rawal bolts.
-- Does the roof have any slanted angle?
-- At least 6 feet gap between two rows of mounting structures to avoid shading.

4) Solar Inverter Location
-- Minimum distance between Solar Panels and Solar Inverter to reduce wire loss.

-- Minimum Distance between Solar Inverter and electrical distribution box.
-- Solar Inverter preferably must be installed at a cool & dry location for better efficiency.
-- Installed at a place where it is accessible for maintenance.

5) Solar Batteries Location
-- Batteries should be located at a cool & dry location for better efficiency and useful life.

-- High temperatures may adversely affect the useful life of batteries.
-- Installed at a place where it is accessible for maintenance.

6) Wiring
-- Is there any prewiring for electrical appliances to replace UPS with Solar System?

-- Do we need new wiring for electrical loads?

7) Energy Efficient Electrical Appliances
-- It is cost-effective to change your existing electrical appliances to energy efficient devices such as LED lights, Inverter DC Air    Conditioners, Inverter Fridge.

-- Energy efficient devices consume less electricity, hence the initial investment on the solar system also decreases.
-- Replacing & Solarizing the DC Inverter Air Conditioners is more cost effective as compared to solarizing your traditional Air    Conditioners.
-- Similarly replacing your 25 Watt energy savers with 7 Watt LED bulbs saves energy and provides you same brightness.

Considerations for NET METERING Systems
-- Domestic or Commercial users must have a 3-Phase Electricity Meter to install a net metering system.

-- How many electricity units do i consume annually?
-- Single Phase domestic or commercial users are unable to apply for net metering as per NEPRA rules.
